The mission of the Netcong Borough Advisory Green Team Committee will advise the Borough Council on ways to improve municipal operations with “Green” initiatives which are economically and environmentally sound through research and evaluation.

The “Green Team” was established by the Borough Council to

• Help identify ways to save tax dollars
• Assure clean air and water
• Improve the Borough’s working and living environments
• Build a community that is sustainable economically environmentally and socially

In short to build:

A community which would thrive well into the new century

The Green Team’s First Event

Help Light Up Netcong…Become A Project Porchlight Volunteer

The Netcong Green Team is teaming up with Project Porchlight!  The mission is to hand out one free florescent light bulb to every household in Netcong Borough.  We will be training volunteers on Wednesday, July 14th at 7:30 PM in the municipal building.
